Good resource to learn Spanish Grammar?

As per the title, i'm looking for a good resource to brush up on my grammar. I have found plenty of sites which help me with Spanish in general and have managed to advance quite nicely on and off over the past year or so in my Spanish, but i'm seeing glaring holes in my ability to progress which are primarily caused by my lack of understanding of rules of Spanish grammar. I know a lot of vocabulary and can repeat phrases but have a hard time putting sentences together myself 'from scratch'. I find myself relying on VERY basic grammar i learnt at school years back or stuff i've worked out by chance but to help with this and i could really do with working on it. I can construct many sentences that kind of make sense to a Spanish person but they are very incorrect most of the time (they seem to understand what i say but give me some strange looks and/or i'm always being corrected on really silly things like ser/estar)!

Does anyone know of any good, indepth websites or can recommend a good book for this purpose? I'm not looking for anything flashy, good solid content is my priority.

The Practice makes perfect series by Dorothy Devney Richmond are very helpful, I've found. There's one called Spanish Verb Tenses with good explanations, plenty of exercises and the answers in the back. They do another on Prepositions and Pronouns - again, excellent.

All obtainable through Amazon or try www.abebooks.co.uk or .com for second hand copies.

I like these books too. I also like BaronĀ“s 501 Spanish Verbs.

go to your local town hall and ask if there are any free courses for expats to learn Spanish. If there is, the focus (in our expereince) has been on grammar rather than vocabulary..... which seemed a bit back-to-front for us

She has not moved to Spain yet so that would not be an option for her.
