Which Indian?

The little one down the side street, opposite the Chinese, they do a buffet on a Sunday, but picked off the menu, really nice and tasty and freshly made.

Yes that's a Jon BX recommendation, Sean likes the one near Willys.

Yes its our fave Indian .... also lovely family serving there - with cute kids. Maharajah Patiala Maharaja Patiala Tandoori Restaurant, Monte Gordo - Restaurant Reviews, Phone Number & Photos - TripAdvisor
Sometimes there is a little wait, but you know its because they are cooking fresh.
Re GC
We were very pleased with the new look terrace at the GC, much nicer than before IMO. Gives the GC a really nice feel. Though the draft beer was still not to my liking... I tried it - but realised why I always take a bottled beer there eg Sagres. NB I had a media beer (not a pint) 2.50 and a white wine 2.50.
Ive heard that they will do onion bhajee's 8.50 - expensive, but apparently really good and big. I personally wouldn't take a curry there though, not when we have the resto above as the best option IMO, made by the real locals!

I had a prawn curry on Tuesday but I wouldn't recommend it. However, the rest of the menu is pretty good, particularly the lamb shanks and the fish and chips. Agree about the draft beer, they could do with a couple more choices.

BTW, I see that Amalia has Guiness on draft at the shop!

Aaaah the amber nectar at 'the local'! Err thats Fosters! The black nectar. I hope she knows how to keep it well, important for a beer like Guinness.

I didn't notice that the other night thanks for the heads up.
