Default Gibraltar / La Linea - any locals?

Hi

possibly the saddest request you'll get but here goes...

Having relocated south from the Costa Blanca I am missing one essential item to make my life complete...not having British TV I used to be able to buy discs with all the English soaps and other programmes on from Brit supermarkets...

Does anybody know if anything similar is available around la Linea / Gib ?

Thanks!

Morrisons in Gib will have British DVDs as well as the umpteen music/video stores in the town centre itself.

Or of course just order them online.

Thanks jerezgirl - will be visiting Morrissons to stock up some bits anyway tomorrow...but actually the DVDs I used to be able to get were (gulp) pirated ones, very well known in the Costa Blanca which specifically recorded a weeks viewing of various things...

Sorry if this is a very frowned upon thing!

Can't you just pay for a tv feed of some kind?
or use an online viewer?

Welcome to the southern tip! Where the wind blows, the levanter cloud hangs and you just know the weather is always 100x better down the road in Marbella.

Anyway as youre next to Gib, your English fix will be fixed so much more than Costa Blanca. Get the net and just download what you want, britbox is a good site.
You can still hook up satellite in La Linea for UK TV. Depending if your apartment allows it and there are guys that will sort it out if you need Sky.

P.S I work in Gibraltar so am local
