Margallo returns with four-year ‘Hong Kongisation’ claim

But he said the UK must first be “persuaded to help us to seduce the Gibraltarian population”, adding that Spain must also “seduce” the Gibraltarians into believing that “being in Spain and the EU is good business, being outside is bad business”.

Margallo returns with four-year ‘Hong Kongisation’ claim – Gibraltar Chronicle

Some dictionary definitions of "seduce"

1) to persuade to disobedience or disloyalty

2) to lead astray usually by persuasion or false promises

3) attract (someone) to a belief or into a course of action that is inadvisable or foolhardy

The final version of the European Union's guidelines for the Brexit negotiations have kept the clause which singles out Gibraltar for a Spanish veto.

Clause 22 has become clause 24, but the text remains unchanged and just as objectionable to Gibraltarians as it was originally. It reads: "After the United Kingdom leaves the Union, no agreement between the EU and the United Kingdom may apply to the territory of Gibraltar without the agreement between the Kingdom of Spain and the United Kingdom."

Mr Picardo said: “If anybody thinks that they can discriminate against the people of Gibraltar and that we’ll take it lying down, they’ve got something else coming.”

He said his government would never accept any “discrimination or prejudice” against the people of Gibraltar by the European Union.

If another referendum on EU membership were held tomorrow, the Union would be lucky to get one or two votes from Gibraltar, according to the Chief Minister.

The Chief Minister has reacted to the Spanish Foreign Ministry's Brexit document planning changes to the Rock’s economic status, saying that as usual, the welfare of its own people hasn't got in the way of Spain's neo-colonial ambitions over Gibraltar.

But, he states, our goodwill will not be abused and soon Madrid will have to explain to the Campo why Spanish Citizens starting work in Gibraltar, post-Brexit, won't have the same rights as Gibraltarians in the work place.

The Chief Minister, the Hon Fabian Picardo, said: 'It is no secret that Spain has been deliberately causing problems for Gibraltar at our border and through its incursions into British Gibraltar Territorial Waters. Today's incursion into Gibraltar's airspace, in the middle of a busy day when several civilian flights were scheduled to arrive and depart from the Gibraltar International Airport, takes the Spanish harassment of Gibraltar to new heights.

Still waiting for you to man up

Or is it just your lack of education?

But I must admit from experience you would rather try to deflect than be honest

If anyone is interested I am not the only one to pick Fred up on his claim.
It's on the TIO thread.

Correct it is on TIO where two other people have mentioned it but niether of them are stupid enough to say it was my suggestion or my claim.
Obviously they can read and understand the article unlike yourself.

So when will you apologise and retract that claim or are you not man enough?
