Re: Gibraltar 2
Time to close the Suez canal and keep the cruise ships out of the med. Those stinky little fishing boats must be a real menace along with the big marine toys in Port Banus and Montecarlo. The Libyan fleet crossing to Italy many times a day should be sunk. A complete shipping ban for several decades would promote cleaner air and regrowth of marine life. The Mediterranean basin must be protected at all costs and the Mogherini will soon have it sorted, Renzi has promised................ and hip hip for Podemus! Long live the B.S.
PS. Filling in the Dardanelles would block a few other nasties too......... We've got a rail link to China now!!!!

Re: Gibraltar 2
If Gibraltar is British , then companies based there and all those who live and work their should conform to UK tax rules and pay UK tax rates to the UK exchequer.
You will not find many if any in Gib who would want to be British or many of the companies based or operating there who would stay !,
Gibraltar is Gibraltarian , not British.

Bossano tells UN Seminar Spain's claim to Gibraltar is "nonsense"
The Minister for Economic Development, Joe Bossano, has described Spain's sovereignty claim to Gibraltar as "nonsense" and asked the United Nations' Committee of 24 to reject it. Speaking at a C24 Seminar in Nicaragua, he said the Committee should instruct the Spanish government that it must respect the UN Charter, which declares that the interests of the inhabitants of non-self-governing territories are paramount

A memorial event to mark 75 years of the wartime evacuation of the civilian population of Gibraltar will take place tomorrow. This coincides with the very day 75 years ago when the first vessel transported Gibraltarian evacuees on the evacuation scheme across the Strait from Gibraltar to French Morocco. The Government has taken the view that it is important to commemorate the event and to honour that generation.

I reckon a couple of million euros slipped into Blatters back pocket would fix the job nicely.
For a little bit more he'd even fix you the World Cup.
