While EU inspectors flow around Gibraltar looking for illegal chocolates, false sixpences and motorcycles with the sidecar bolted on the left, Spain and Argentina have been cozying up in New York over a heavy lunch while noting the obvious connections between the Falkland Islands and Gibraltar. This amusing partnership, made up of García-Margallo and one Hector Timerman, will be mercilessly badgering London to give up the keys to the two colonies, right after the coffees have been gargled at the United Nations luncheonette. Argentina may have expropriated Repsol YPF last year, but what's a few discordant notes between friends?
