I've just found out that I've been summoned to court on Monday (as a witness). They have been writing to me over a period of a couple of months but, quote, letters were being returned to the court in Alzira by correos. It turns out that because my green certificate specifies my address in the campo and NOT my postal address, that's where all official letters are sent. Luckily, someone decided to call me - if they hadn't I could have been fined between 200€ and 5000€ for non-attendance! No doubt some mail goes straight in the bin though. |

The OP should ask the current owners of the property how they have their post dealt with. Surely this is the best starting point?
