Frying pan. A company called Bra make an excellent range. We have one with a detachable hamdle. Allows you to start on the hob and finish off in the oven.

In Hungary, never ask someone how they are - they will almost certainly tell you - in gruesome technicolour! Having said that, it is still common here to chat, at length, with shopkeepers and others, including strangers.

Yes, I have one, but they're not cast iron. Sooner or later the middle of the pan forms slightly concave, thus moving olive oil to the sides.

It’s one of their current hot subjects. They keep dragging up the same old stories, like illegal houses etc.
Brits leaving Spain in droves is another favourite subject. Most of the leavers have been illegal for years and have finally been exposed. |
