That should not happen as the current would still have to pass through the normal circuit breakers. The ICP trip is entirely to do with your bill.
When we built our hose and contracted for the dual tariff, the ICP was not required so we could take as much as we liked without any problems. They ultimately changed that just so they could charge us a much higher monthly charge. |

I cant imagine that everyone on one transformer putting everything on for hours on end would do much good, it might not catch fire, but who knows, that much current flowing through one box is not gonna be good for it, is it ? Disclaimer : I´m NOT suggesting that anyone still with an old meter should do this, its very dangerous! This is NOT the opinion of this forum, only me. |
