Gandia is a big town basically. Its pretty enough with nice tree lined paseo, lots of shops and a pedestrianised shopping area. Theres Gandia playa as well, very long blue flag beach with walkway, the playa area is a "Spanish" holiday resort.

The town is great to look around but I have not seen much property advertised or in agents windows in Gandia (just came back)

The beach area has a great promenade and a very good looking sandy beach. The negative side is when you turn and look away from the sea and see the long line of high rise beach apartments - but as Mitzyboy says it is a 'Spanish' holiday resort.

We then travelled along the coast looking at the small towns going towards Oliva where again we saw great beaches but mor high rises and many more being built as you move inland say a quarter of a mile.

We have looked at the small places around Gandia and really there can be no substitute for you having to do the same.

Thanks foe the info, seen a couple of properties which look really good value for money just across from a primary school in orange groves.

I like Gandia. It seems to have lots to offer. The beach is a couple of miles from the main town though, as far as I know.

You could try a PM to Spain, a BE member who lives in that area.
