Gandia

Does anyone know anything about the hotels or even a small holiday flat at Gandia beach? I am seriously thinking that I might go there for Christmas and New Year to avoid all of the well meaning invitations that have started rolling in. Not being a kill joy just do not want to be a dampener to their enjoyment.

Same here Rosemary, I'm struggling to cope. Have tried a speadsheet and diary organiser software but even they can't cope. Thinking of getting someone in to manage everything.

:D

No I don't but good luck in finding solace over the festive period. A hotel might be better so that you have some distraction from your own thoughts ... maybe??

Problem that I am discovering is the if you go half board at the hotels this includes three special meals so the price absolutely rockets up and I do not want to be in the thick of the celebrations.

surely you can get somewhere that will cater to YOUR needs. I thought it was only the stupid Brit hotels that would insist on all or nothing.

hope you find somewhere.
kind regards

Re: Gandia

How about the Hotel Borgia in the centre of Gandia, B&B good price. You can always get the bus to the beach and you have all of Gandia to browse around, incognito. Plenty of people around yet you can keep yourself to yourself.

Im back for a short while at the end of the month so I can look at Gandia Beach for you. There are places up on our mountain for rental, but you would need to drive. Nice views, but no bus service :-)

Basically I want to be able to walk out of the door and have a good walk along the sea front as and when the whim takes me and only drive when I want to go to places like La Vital. Have not been to Gandia for more than three years so I thought that it would be a good place to visit again.

Now that sounds good. I have done a quick google but cannot find any information on these, I will keep trying though and if anyone has any further details I would be grateful. I have e-mailed and telephoned a few places and they are either fully booked or closed.
