Fuengirola

Hurray got a job :D it is near Fuengirola, payment is not so good and not so bad, but I won't spend a lot of money if I'm working.

Now I need an apartment and I would ask the community, if anybody can recommend an estate agency or somebody who is renting out apartments? I know it would be good looking at Air bnb, but I've read it has happened that landlords cancel the booking shortly before arrival or they turn up and there is no key, so quite scared. Would feel more comfy if anybody could recommend something.

I need only a small one, but would be good if it is about 15 minutes walking distance from a train station, because I need to go to work by train.

Really appreciate any help. Thank you
Christine

You will only really find long term accommodation by actually being in the place and looking at local adverts or looking for signs on balconies saying Se Alquila. Try and get a couple of weeks in an Airbandb and start from there. It is very quick to get a rent if you deal with a landlord direct. They usually give you a contract and you pay a month in advance and that's it. I wouldn't try and rent without seeing the place first.

You can look at Airbnb for a month as there can be large discounts for 28 nights, cheaper than two weeks occasionally.

Someone I know who uses AirBNB a lot says that if not as described walk away and they are very good in refunding you.
