ESPN on Sky Channel 417 - has a Free to View weekend, starting today.

As it is Free to View, you need a working Sky card to view this ESPN Sports channel.

ESPN have NO English Premier League football this weekend (probably why they have chosen this weekend to go free!), but do have matches from the Guiness Rugby Premiership, and the Bundesliga. And a fair bit of American Sport.

ESPN UK is available on Sky Channel 417, and should be available around the Costa of Spain on an 80cm to 1m dish.

ESPN UK HD is also Free to View this weekend - on Sky HD channel 442 - and should be easily available in Spain even on a 60cm dish!!

Its on a similar beam and frequency as Irish C4s - so if you get Irish C4s then you should also get ESPN UK.

So very surprised you cannot get it in your area...reception reports from satellite enthusiasts in your area say they can also get it 1m dishes - so much for those reports then!!


like i said i can get it all day on my 80cm dish, but not other "North beam" channels like Eurosport 2.

Getting good reception now (1430) but broke up a bit this morning. Using a 80cm dish in Piles/Oliva.
