Hi All

Having been out last night (and by the looks of the threads that happened, am I glad I was!), I just caught up with everything. A thought occurred to me. This forum is about people seeking advice for a move to Spain primarily, it is, though, in my humble opinion, a chance to make friends too.

Already (and I haven't been a member for that long!) I feel I know and like so many members on here. It is great to have a laugh with them, get superb advice when I have asked for it, and even been able to express the highs and lows I have felt recently without fear of not being taken seriously.

I am certainly a person who likes a laugh, and perhaps sometimes others might misinterpret the spirit of my intentions with some of the pictures etc I post, but there has never been any malice intended. For example, any pictures I posted yesterday regarding BP were all intended as a joke, nothing more!

At the end of the day we are all here for one purpose aren't we? I for one am really glad I found this forum. It has proved invaluable to me so far, and hopefully will for a good long time to come.

The moderators have a totally thankless task. I certainly wouldn't want it, would any of you if the truth was but known?? So, thanks to the Mods!

I have made a very good friend through this forum - Sue G. We have met up three times so far and get along so well it's as though we have known each other for years. We have the same interests and even our work background is very similar.

P.s. Your posts on my 'Pete thread' were funny Sally I certainly wasn't offended they went with the flow and I'm sure Pete laughed at them also.

Thats exactly what i was trying to say last night - i think the people on here are brill - there are usually loads of laughs, share lots of info and defo friendships forming which is what its all about isnt it????
We should be bigging up BP not letting it slide (new lingo apparently 'bigging up' according to my kids).

We have such a laugh - put the world to rights, talk about you lot on here:D, moan about the kids, where we are going with our lives etc etc. How long we are going to last out here - who is moving in with who when we run out of money - we are moving in with Lin - cause she has a bigger place!!

Sally that was a lovely post, and Sam I read your thread but cannot reply on there. I have not been on here since Friday afternoon so missed it all thank God. But I agree with Sally and Sam, BE is a great forum and I love coming on here to have a laugh and joke with you guys. I also like to read the serious stuff aswell and do get upset for people when things are not going to plan. I know I dont know you all (met Crispy) but in a way I feel as though I do know you.
