Formula 1 in Valencia from 2008....perhaps
 

Read in Las Provincias tonight, that Bernie Eccleston is just about to sign the contract to bring a F1 race to the streets of Valencia, Monaco style, from next year for seven years. The race will be called 'El Gran Premio de Europa', The European Grand Prix.

There is a condition to the contract though. The PP must win the election on May 27, and keep Francisco Camps in power.

It is official apparently, and even better is that it is going to be the first F1 Night race, looks like that could be very cool!

Seven year contract signed officially today.

First one November 2008, from 2009-2014 in August.

They picked August as it's Valencia's quietest month, with most under occupancy in hotels.
