I remember it very well from last Summer.
What a shock.

We were standing on the bankside close to Thirlmere when a couple of those things suddenly roared out of nowhere, twisting and turning up the lake, very little above water level and head height to us very close by, so we briefly had a side on view of the pilots.

I go trout fishing on a lake on the Devon Somerset border and we are convinced that the pilots when on low flying training target the boats.
We have to blame someone when we fail to catch anything.
