Fiscal resident or not ?

Hi , got EU passport , i've registered with Extranjeria 6 weeks ago.
So i've only been ,,resident" for 6 wks , BUT i've been registered on padron for 7 mths (including the 6 wks)..The paperwork , the bureaucracy , took forever and i'm leaving Spain next week planning to return for 5 mnths next year..
Didn't work or made any money here and do not own property.
Question is , because i've been on padron for over 6 mnths , where do i stand regarding taxation ? Does the fiscal residency start 6 mnths AFTER getting registered ? Very confusing , maybe someone on this forum will help ..
Thank you

Re: Fiscal resident or not ?

Simple. Did you spend more than 183 days in Spain during the calendar year?

If so you are deemed to be tax resident.

Signing on the Padron or on the register of foreigners is irrelevant. More than 183 days and you are tax resident.
