The best place that you might go to see them around Fuengirola might be from somewhere just above the building line, maybe if you are in an apartment block the roof might be a good place to watch from, or maybe even the 'sea break' jetty out from the port.

There are rumours going round that there will be no fireworks this year in Fuengirola because of the cost... but I doubt that will be the case.

Hi thanks no wonder there worried about the cost last few yrs i could here the noise at el faro. I think best way is to drive up somewhere higher, and see up n down the coast, and hope there no rain and have the roof down . Long as we can get back for 12.59am .

I seen fireworks once from a distance (think it was looking down from the back road into Mijas) you could see the whole thing and the whole area around, I think my conclusion was that it is better to see them from closer by than far away and the whole area. I am not actually sure where they let them off from now (beach or castle) but if it where the beach then the castle might be a good place to watch from... maybe ask around, if I find out I will let you know.
