Financial advisers

Please could anyone in the Nerja to Malaga area suggest a good and honest financial adviser, preferably one who would advise me on various options and not just try to sell his own plan? Thanks

Re: Financial advisers

That will always be difficult as most of them exist on the commission from the products they ultimately sell you.

Blevins Franks do seem to have a good reputation here.

Re: Financial advisers

Good financial advisers charge a fee for the advice. So not reliant on commission. Problem is in the "ex-pat" market in Spain and other countries, some advice areas are unregulated. Sorry I cannot recommend in your area.

Start here with a guy called David Goodall : Financial Pages in Spain

He is an excellent source of information
He put me in touch with a UK-based financial advisor who regularly visits Spain.
I did not use her advice in the end as opted to manage on my own but serious people ( of course with own products )
