Finally managed to escape Sabadell (almost)
 

Hi
i have just finally managed to change all my payments to Wise from Sabadell.

BUT
now it says I cannot close the account over the internet, but I have to visit the office. Any suggestions on how to close this account without visiting a Sabadell branch?

Not sure if you can get around having to go to a branch, but don't leave without the certificado de cancelación.

I'm certain that I've read somewhere on a different forum that they had done similar to you and move everything to Wise and left with an empty Sabadell account was allowed to close it over the phone.

It's certainly worth another enquiry.

If you left a trivial amount in it ( and the running costs are nil /very low ) im betting they will close it for you as part of client account 'rationalising' ;-)
