The big networks would love to shut them down and probably will one day unless Filmon starts paying for the programs its broadcasts. Of course when that happens Filmon will no longer be free.

Another of the many internet TV suppliers who broadcasts a handful of UK TV channels for "free". The industry doesn't like them much. Lots of legal threats and lawsuits, but the courts so far have (narrowly) ruled mostly in their favour.

Maybe, but these cases are all in the US. It would not affect directly their ability to stream UK programs in the short term.

Their European operation is based in Switzerland and apparently, for the time being at least, will give them some protection from EU law, which anyway, does not seem to be doing much to prevent such systems.

It is noticeable that the only case to succeed so far was against TVCatchup and they are still going strong.

are you suggesting that if the Mother folds the Daughter will remain operational ??
and if they are stopped from taking the copyrighted productions of the producers what will they have to pass off from Europe.
Other than taking live from air and rebroadcasting online

But Alkie David seems to make money out of providing things he has taken without paying and providing it to others who profess they are getting it for free. Obviously advertising pays someone.

Quite probably.

Alkie David is not an idiot and will survive a lot longer than most would do.

He has made his fortune and will keep operating just for the hell of it.
