The only Ferran Adria meal I could ever afford was his 'tweaking' of Lay's Artesanas (crisps)by adding Rosemary. Now sadly discontinued. what a shame!

I`ll be surprised if El Bulli ever opens again , no business of that size could sustain such high loses for long.

It's served its purpose now though? I imagine Ferran Adria could charge a small fortune going around restaurants around the world, giving "consultancy". After all if Gordon Ramsay can earn his money this way...

His reputation in the business world will depend a lot on whether his creditors got paid .

The restaurant made a loss but the brand made a profit.

The books, the documentaries, the product approvals etc etc

The restaurant was a loss-leader, just like the flagship store is for many brands

That still dose not answer whether creditors got paid when EL Bulli closed , as successful as he is he can not have a loss leader that bad!!!

Go and study business management then you will realize.

Just because the restaurant has temporarily closed does not mean that his very successful business has closed so there is no reason to suggest that any creditors have not been paid.

His overall business is far greater than one flagship restaurant just like Ramsay or Oliver.

It does not need a degree in business management to understand that.

Have you any evidence of any unpaid creditors?

I dont call loosing 500k a year very successful!

Is it run as one business or several ? Both Ramsay and Oliver by there own admission have spent a lot of time on the verge of bankruptcy!

It appears it takes someone who has been in business to understand it !!
