fadesa

We are currently trying to get "la comunidad" established up in Las Colinas and are hoping to get the building common areas hooked up to electricity, the pool finished and the elevator running. I know all the problems people have w Fadesa contributing their share and would appreciate any comments by others who had similar problems. At the meeting we learned that it will take about 6000€ to get the elevator running! and the Fadesa reps "promised" to do it by OCTOBER. IF that's true it's better news than we expected, but moving in is a pain -lugging everything up 2 flights of stairs. Now we can only hope the pool is opened before summer (they have spruced up the area lately). Anyone still waiting to get an elevator running?

Why did people purchase when they were unfinished:confused:

Re: fadesa

Because most who did got an extra 20-30000€ off the "finished" price.

They certainly don`t sound like they are fit for habitation with no lights etc in the common area, they could go bankrupt if there was a significant accident claim due to no insurance cover.

There are some of us still working to get our deposits back because the buildings were not completed on time to the required spec - sad that it still seems to be an issue in places. Four/five years now.

Hi,
we had our lifts connected in March this year after three n half years, bit late for us has we lugged all are stuff up along with other residents.

But cost nothing like 6000E,more like a third of that,at Las Encinas, but now up and running so much easier getting in with shopping and stuff.

Ken.

As long as Fadesa pays for it we don't care what it costs! It seems there's some damage to gears or something. So far the heaviest stuff has been delivered (poor guys) by Carrefour but we still lug tons of stuff up by hand. Hopefully at least the pool will be ready by summer or we'll have to "visit" others to keep cool in theirs! Today it's 35 in Cordoba so enjoy your 29 degrees...
