Eye Tests in Spain
 

How do they work over here ? How much do they cost ?

I just need a prescription as I always buy my glasses online. But was wondering if the prescription will be the same style and content ?

Specksavers do the eye tests for free but I suppose they expect you to buy from them too. They advertise that you are saving €10 with the free eye test so one can assume that an eye test with them is €10.

Spanish opticians will be happy to perform the eye test free of charge too, no need to go out of your way.

Any opticians will do it, but make sure that you make it very clear that you just want the test and no glasses. They might get annoyed if you dont want the 'full package' but tell them afterwards.

Our opticians in moraira do a three for one deal with free eye test and free hearing test.But i think i would say before test that i would not buy their glasses and if there was a small fee i would pay.they are a small independent shop and are very good.

Opticians in Bulgaria used a different style of notation, but were happy to take a UK prescription and magically transform it into a EU-style prescription. Maybe it is the same in Spain.

no. they will use some excuse about "no thats old, you need a new test, lets do it now, oh its 8278492679425674658946 euros and you´ve had it so you have to pay it."
