Expat meeting places
Hi, Can anyone recommend a bar or Café or anywhere where expats meet up occasionally around Benidorm area?
I know there are loads of bars etc owned by brits but they are there running businesses.
I would like to meet with expats who have solely moved there to retire.
I have transport so I can travel ok. Any Bar name or address would be appreciated.

Even if the owners are running a business they will know of favourite places if it isn't theirs.
Otherwise look for those running the footy matches on large screen.

The Costa Blanca News has several pages listing places where expats meet, hundreds of them.

Thanks for the replies.
Hate football but quite like Yorkshires.
HBG. Never thought about looking in the CB newspaper.
Cheers Steve

If you're travelling down to Albir beach, there are some decent bars on the right hand side at the bend just before the beach, frequented by expat pensioners who have lived there for years.
Benidorm is only a 20 minute bus ride away on a number 20 bus.

Thanks HBG that's the sort of helpful answer I was hoping for. We will give that one a try. We did have in mind to visit most places up that way and quite fancied Albir.
