Megabytes

Its probably half a megabyte
I read somewhere that TF aren't capable of supplying high megabyte connections rurally because of the exchanges, but I don't know that for sure.

If you don't really know what they are, then really it doesn't matter whether it's bits or bytes. All that does matter is that it's a fast connection. Even a half meg is reasonable.

You can download movies on a dial up, if you're willing to leave it on for weeks at a time!!

3mb is enough to get online tv. not brilliant but it works.

It matters because the original poster asked the question - "is it megabytes or megabits".

The first one is just plain wrong - the second says it is Megabits.

If you do a bit more research you will find that it is megabits.

I meant that I didn't want to make a big thing of it .... but as it happens I just spoke to the MD of a computer company in the UK that I deal with and he says both are used ... but what does he know Fred
