You won't see the post, but will see that they have posted, however if someone quotes them you will see their post then.

YOU ARE NOT WRONG THERE MATE, when it rains, which is very often, it really rains.
Not to mention the fog, it has been very foggy this morning, and really damp up till about 11.30 now the sun is shining.

I cant count the number of early morning flight that have been delayed due to the fog in Santi de Comp.

I cant wait to get back to the sun.

We have had a marvey week here with solid sunshine, which has made a lovely change after the grey week in the UK.

Can't be doing with it.
It's already too darn hot through the day, yet still bloody cold at night.
Pleased I packed my electric blanket anyway.

I'm one of those fools who prefers the UK summer to Spain's.. it gives you a better chance of outdoor activities when the temperature is 26C - 40 or 45C is just too hot. Having said that, it can be very depressing when we have a stinker of a summer and it rains constantly for 6 or 8 weeks.

Heh - this is what someone (MartinVarsavsky) has just tweeted :- Other than a great labor force this is another reason why your next start up should be in Madrid http://bit.ly/a9IiB7

The link is to a weather map showing sunny days ahead in Madrid. And the map shows weather conditions over Europe, with a stream of stormy rainclouds lining up to traverse Britain

Yeah. Godawful grey shite. Me I don't care what the temp is. I enjoy being warm, I hate being cold, and when it's really hot I adjust my lifestyle to suit.

Me to. Once the house has turned into a giant concrete radiator with the heat bouncing back out of the walls, even on a nightime, then I'm on my bike heading North.
I reckon even the Madrid folk would welcome a good pour-down to cool things off in mid-summer.

There's a reason why Madrid shuts down in August and half the population heads to the coast...

What about July and September, I suppose they just have to grin and bear it.

Well yes, although a lot of companies operate a special summer timetable, the intensive day, that means people can start earlier, work without a lunch break and finish by say 2 or 3pm. One advantage of Madrid is that it normally cools down at night to reasonable temperatures even on hot days.
