I booked, as on the web you can pick the cheapest fares depending on the time frame you want to travel in.

I know you can book on internet but our schedule is really tight and we might not have time to do it, is it essential to book and can it be booked over the weekend or is it only mon-fri

Hi,
As far as i know it is far cheaper to book a same day return ticket for a day in advance sometimes £22 each way and then not use the return ticket.
This has to be for the following day to get low prices.
You can just turn up but the prices are more expensive.
Good luck Kev

There's stuff in the small print of all ferry companies that if you don't use the 'return' they'll charge you the full price for a single on your credit card.
