Default Europeans in Local Politics

We have a local (independent) political party in Mojácar, called Ciudadanos Europeos de Mojácar, with a mix of Spanish and 'Europeans'. It supports 'residential tourism' and integration etc. We currently have a councillor in the local coalition government.
Are there other similar groups or people interested in forming integration political parties... or is it a waste of time...?

It shouldn't be a waste of time but frankly what I've heard, read and seen of such groups is a lot of jostling for power, name calling, back stabbing and that's only from the British members. God knows what the French, German and Dutch get up to.

Arboleas - one of the towns from the Alta Almanzora in Almeria (the area where there are '10,000 illegal viviendas' according to the Junta de Andalucía) - has just announced the formation of a local independent party to fight the next elections. The leader is a bi-lingual Brit.

We don't seem to have such a lot of posters from that neck of the woods, however I wish them all the best in their endeavours and hope more will try to follow suit.
