Estate Agent, is this the one in a million
Hello to you all, this will be my first real post on the forum so hope I find all the right buttons to press. We are moving out to Spain in May having found a long term rent. Just me and Tony now, Mum has decided to stay in England with the cats.
We came over in January to look at a property that we found on the net through an estate agent. It was just what we wanted but when we went back into the office first thing on the Monday the owner had already told them that she no longer wanted to rent it out. We were upset as we had hoped to sort something out before flying home on the Wednesday.
Our Agent had nothing else on his books but managed to find 3 other properties (with other estate agents) to look at by the end of the day (Monday). One of those was a new build town house that was intended for sale but because of the current market the owner was willing to rent. We waited all Tuesday for a conformation, but the other estate agent didn't realise the urgency so the owner was never contacted.
Our Agent (on his day off) was contacted by another of his clients re his house sale. Our Agent suggested to his client that he rent his 2 properties out until the market became more stable and he agreed.
We looked at the property early that evening and our Agent came round at 9pm with the contracts. This property was the best we had seen.
Our Estate Agents job hasn't stopped there. He offered help getting our NIE numbers sorted and will take us to the Police Station etc when we go out in late April. He has also given us a lot of other advise and will assist us with buying a car if we want him to.
This young man has more than gone the extra mile for us, so if anyone wants an Estate Agent I would suggest giving this one a go.
I would love to tell you which Estate Agent this is but don't know if this is allowed.

Surely you are allowed to name him or the company he works for.
