English football on TV in Spain

Hopefully spending far more time in my place in Spain in the near future due to my impending retirement. I wonder if anybody can point me towards a broadband package for the Premier League. Not interested in the Spanish stuff. Thanks in advance.

Movistar or DAZN.

You can literally get a sub in numerous EU countries and use it over in Spain but the real trick is to make sure you have English commentary. I unfortunately don't but at least I can watch the games for under $20/mth and have plenty of other football included as well (Champions League, etc.).

Does DAZN give you the option to select English commentary when signing up in Spain?

I pay an independent IPTV server for an unprecedented service. Thousands of TV channels from across the globe.
All UK TV Inc all sport channels and ppv.
Unlimited box sets and films in all languages.
92 eu annually for 2x access.
Fibra optics a must.

I go with DAZN and with the FOOTBALL package you get Premier League, Spanish La Liga, Italy Serie A and Bundesliga. I pay less than 200€ for a year and the quality is excellent. No English commentary but that doesn't bother me.

But was the picture crystal clear with a high refresh rate? Sometimes they skimp on this and the frame rate is only half of what it should be.

Yeah, I pay for something similar via a normal sub elsewhere in Europe, but I do miss the English commentary. Without it football - or rather the Premier League - just isn't the same.

I did say that it is an unprecedented service. Fibra optica is a must and I have the option of watching SD, HD and FHD on each channel. I never have any buffering and the quality is top class. The service offers a free trial before subscription.

I assume any fibre connection will do as the data throughput needs to be stable but not that big (I think I have 500mbps and a stream maybe uses 10-12mbps tops?). Anyway, looks interesting as I'm having trouble enjoying my Premier League matches without the commentary being in English. It's not so much understanding what's going on because I can SEE what's going on, but rather the match atmosphere that comes along with the "origina" commentary. :)

Anyway, sent you a PM if you could drop me a note.

I guess you could go old-school and watch it on TV with UK radio commentary? Might be possible if the time difference isn't too much.

Interesting suggestion, many thanks. So the UK radio commentary can easily be accessed from abroad?

Seems so, at least going by the radio thread.

There are often sound synch programs when streaming. My BBC radio stream is nearly a minute out of synch timewise.

Most (all?) BBC live sports broadcasts are restricted to UK VPNs only as per the terms of their broadcasting rights.

Just a quick question to those streaming UK sports in Spain: is the Amazon Fire Tv stick a decent device to used compared to these dedidated IPTV boxes? Is the picture good, is channel switching relatively fast? Or are those android boxes a better choice?
