hi everyone. could my boss manufacture a gross misconduct charge to avoid paying to terminate my work contract and make it stick legally? has everyone had experience in this area. thanks

It's quite possible and not altogether unheard of.

its not happened yet stuboy but wouldn't put it past her. i take it its one word against another in that case. thanks

If you have legal expenses cover on your home contents insurance it could be interesting, I had £20K's worth of legal fees cover as a director of a company when the MD tried to get rid of me, I ended up with a years salary, not bad at age 63.
