Ebola
Seriously. Are they mad? A nurse who attended the missionary who was recently repatriated from West Africa and then died of Ebola in Madrid... has been found to have contracted the virus and that she showed the symptoms of the disease for SIX days before she was diagnosed. El Mundo. She felt seedy, this nurse who was looking after the Ebola missionary, but they sent her away on vacation. Elsewhere, reports say a second nurse is showing symptoms.

It doesn't give you much confidence, if they can screw up a controlled area in the hospital, then anything is possible. A crate of baked beans, and me for the hills!

Three more people were under quarantine Tuesday for possible Ebola at a Madrid hospital after a Spanish nursing assistant became infected there, authorities said. More than 50 others were being monitored as experts pressed to figure out why Spain's anti-infection practices failed.

Re: Ebola
So far 3,439 people have died from Ebola, meanwhile back in the non tabloid universe approximately 21,000 people die every day of hunger or hunger-related causes, according to the United Nations.
Why is the media making such a big deal? well as long as it was people dying in Africa it was always number three (or lower)in the headlines,of course once westerners became victims it moved smartly up to number one in the headlines along with a load of catastrophic projections of its effect in Europe.
Oh and guess what now westerners are involved they will start throwing money at it to find a vaccine so maybe its a good thing we care more for our own than strangers ;-)

Not the best place in the world in my opinion and the hygiene something else. In fairness some years ago but not for me.
Please take care
