Eager to pay taxes
 

Hola,

I want to pay income taxes in Spain, but I'm going to need help from an accountant or a lawyer. Could somebody recommend an english speaking accountant or lawyer in the Valencia city region? Preferably an english speaking Spaniard.

Maybe it's because he may pay less tax in Spain - I do - in fact I don't pay any at all.

I wish that Cman was around to see this.

An expat wanting to pay tax IN SPAIN, willing and eager to help the Spanish economy.

It would restore his faith in yous lot(I have learned the lesson about you, take note).

It just goes to show that at least one poster has proved himself not to be a marginalised scumbag living on the black.

Apart from it being the law if you are resident here - there are also tax benefits of being fiscally Spanish resident. And probably most will pay less in Spain due to better allowances. Yes I know there are exceptions ie civil servants.. mind you they benefit as well from having allowances in both UK and here. Funny how they always get a good deal.
And look what happens when people don't pay like in Italy and Greece.

When I saw the topic title, my first thoughts were, this has got to be some sort of wind-up,
You cannot be serious man ! :confused: I mean to say bringing even the vaguest hint of repectability and honesty to BE in Spain, well it's just not on, after all we have our reputations to think about here.:rofl:

Hola,

I have to pay my taxes somewhere, and as I am living in Spain and enjoying what this country has to offer, I want to pay them here. I really don't see why that is strange.
