I need to purchase some compression socks as I am suffering with my legs as I do a lot of driving, does anyone know where I can purchase them and what price they are ?:confused_smile:

If it’s a real problem for you I’d get medical advice first. My wife has a genetic blood clotting problem which requires that she take a blood thinner (injection) before any flight or a (very) long car trip that requires her sitting still for an extended period of time. Her blood specialist said neither compression socks nor things like aspirin were particularly effective at preventing dvt’s and that compression socks can in fact cause dvts. We gave up wearing them as a result. Don’t take this as advice though, see your GP.

I would recommend Medilast, they have a range of products:thumbup: http://www.medilast.com/web.asp?mod=catalogo
You can buy at the Farmacia

They supply another range aimed at sports. These are available on line. I find their golf socks very good > http://www.medilast-sport.com/web.asp?mod=catalogo&idCategoria={C22E75AD-445F-4DB9-A198-BB1A125F2FB1}

Only my opinion but I think disciplining yourself to stopping and getting out regularly when driving, or getting up at least once every hour, or hour and a half on a short plane journey works best of all. So many Taxi drivers for example, never get out to call on their passengers. They aren't doing something for the passengers as much as for themselves!
