driving down

Hi
Has anyone got a recommendation for either a reasonable motel/ hotel close to the motorway on route from Santander between Salamanca and Caceres. Alternatively a web site showing service area motels.
Many thanks
Kay

Re: driving down

have driven about 14 times from the Netherlands to the Algarve i think that you can drive the route from Santander to CE in one (long)day without many problems.

Re: driving down

Santander to Ayamonte about 8 hrs. driving. Depends on your ferry arrival times. Never used service area hotels. I have used this hotel on that route, several times. Hotel Sercotel Ciudad de Burgos - Web Oficial | Hotel Rubena , hotel cerca Burgos

Not that far from Burgos, ( great tapas bars and lovely city)

Other than that I have used The Paradors when on the motor bike and with car.

Edt ..... If you do a search for this subject on this section it should bring up more options as has been discussed many times.
