For what its worth I just returnedf rom the UK and property prices there are sliding. We looked at a flat which has been on the market from late last year originally at £129k, now priced at £115k, and accepting offers around £105k

When I came here 3 years ago, I sold my UK flat and haven't yet bought here. So far so good.
The downside is that I left the fairly small profit I made from the sale in sterling

a large country house near us that has been up for sale for well over 18 months has, so far had over a million slashed off the price!
