Default Dog whisperer type person

Does anyone have any information regarding a 'dog whisperer' who may be able to save our sanity. We adopted a 2 month old pup from Pepis Refuge last December to join our UK pet family, including a 13 year old dog. He is a lovely dog full of energy but very highly charged and incredibly vocal. He has been easy to train in some respects but will not respond to any command in order to stop his barking. he even seems to answer back when you command him to be quiet. It is driving our family insane and I am sure it must be causing disturbance to our wonderful neighbours. Can someone PLEASE give us some advice or recommend someone who may be able to help?

Is he getting enough exercise? With a more mature dog needing a lot less walking, then it may be difficult for you to co-ordinate their different needs.

The dog´s protecting you by barking, try telling him he´s good and try to show him what the dog might think is dangerous but is no threat, works on our dog.

Don't give them a rubber ring to suck when they are puppies it could effect their teeth in later life
