Default Does you dog's passport get stamped in/out U.K.?

Hi , there seem to be more active members on Spain thread , than on the other EUro-ones , so I'll try and ask here first :
when you take your dog into U.K. ( which we have never done so far ) , I understand that you need to show the dog's passport , being the proof of micro-chip and all correct vaccinations - and the letter from the vet , before the entry is allowed ?
But , does the animal's passport get stamped , with entry/exit date/s at all ? Is anyone interested in : for how long the animal was in/out of U.K. , on every visit ? How can this be ascertained ?
Thanks very much for any input/s !

Nothing got stamped on the way out, didn't even look at the dog just a quick glance at the paperwork. I fully expect a full cavity search on the way into the UK this Summer, though!

on the way in, they check paperwork is correct, ie, the vet has signed the passport, and also they check the chip against passport

How did you get through with 5 dogs, I thought you needed a breeders licence to ship above 3. ;-)

When you return to UK do you need to have a vet check or anything.

Our dog will just be travelling with us to spain for a couple of weeks

I am told here , in Capital of EUrocracy , that
in order to bring a dog into U.K. , you need :
1 ) a valid EU passport for the dog , showing all the correct data like microchip details , vaccinations etc ; and
2 ) a note from the local vet here , stating that the dog was seen and examined a day before crossing into U.K. , and has a clean bill of health !
Any comments ???( Thanxxxx !)

We have just arrived home from UK having takien our dog with us, before we left our vet post dated the paperwork in the passport to say she had been wormed and frontlined, this we did but it has to be done no less than 24 hours prior to arrival in UK and no more than 48 hours before, he sold us everything we needed.
At Calais, before checking in for the the tunnel we had to go to the animal centre where they checked her passport and her chip, no the passport does not get signed.
Coming home they did not even look at her.Was all very simple.

Thanx , mates !
Am I safe to naively conclude then :
the dog's passport does not get stamped by customs , on entry , nor on exit ?
Therefore , noone can really work out if your dog came to U.K for a day , or a week , or for 6 months' stay , or : to remain and die there , or if the dog left U.K again at anytime in-between , and : how many times in/out , if that were the case ????

Correct, we were there for three weeks, nobody asked how long we were staying, a friend of ours did actuaslly take back a dog he rescued in Spain, it is still in England happy and well now for three years

these were show dogs and all that was required was a valid dog passport showing that they had recwived Drontal & Frontline more than 24 hours previously but not more than 48 hours

Drontal and Frontline only ; no certificate from the vet that the dog is well and rabies-free , issued 24 hrs before crossing the Chunnel ?
What breed were your showdogs ?

The passport is sied and stamped to show the rabies blood test is good, the only thing they checked at Calais was the passport and we had to locate the chip, yes Drontal and frontline only, sorry answering re my animal not the show dog post, but would be sure they are the same.
If you have apassport have a look through, it has a page for the blood test result, I did also have the printout with the result but that was ignored.
