Great to hear a few more Brits buying in Martos. Hopefully might meet up e eventually!! I've been told there's a Car Boot Sale which proves pretty popular with the British. Back there myself for a week beginning April, and maybe again in May if anyone's around ?? x

Hi everyone, thinking of staying at Benelmedina on the way back from Martos in May with my friends. Found a lovely little place called called La Podosa and am ready to confirm booking. However it says 1.2 miles from coast, which is absolutely fine, if we can walk? It says by car but does not mention walking!!!! I stayed in Torromolinos last time, and thought that's places just joined up along the coast line. Is that right? I know sometimes in Spain you have to get on dual carriageways just to go down the road and that is definitely not what we're looking for. Help!!!

Hi just wondered if anyone has used a particular taxi firm in Martos. Plenty on the Internet, but not many recommendations! We will use the rank by the bus station when there available, but I've noticed there not always there. Not sure if one would turn up if we waited!! Going back to Martos on Tuesday and taking my Mum, hence the taxi situation. For 83 she is pretty fit, but my house is right on the top of a very steep hill!!!!! Cheers

Hi there Wicklowjack, That is a real shame, leaving Maertos on the 10th April to spend a couple of days at the coast before flying home. Like you would really like to get to know a few expats, and a drink sounds great! Hopefully next time. Enjoy your break

A working break then......all good when it's your holiday home though, don't you think? I don't think I've had one single visit that hasn't involved some kind of DIY, lol!! Still makes me happy, and very fulfilling. More gardening this time I think, in the S U N. ....... Yeah!!! Good luck with your painting. Heres to next time!!
