Default Does anyone know how long you have to be resident in Spain?

To get financial aid to study at University?
Now I've read horror stories about Spanish Citizens not receiving their grants/loans on time because of la crisis but what is the actual law when it comes to residency of getting a loan to study at Uni in Spain?

I think it is almost impossible to get help at the moment.

We have three children. For the last three years we have applied for assistance (beca) towards books and also travel. For the last three years we have received NOTHING.

Every year we get a letter stating that we have been approved and also quoting a figure - but nothing ever arrives.

My son is in bachi - he was told that it was 100% guaranteed that he would receive assistance. Well, he hasn't received anything yet.

Depends on the region. Valencia is particularly screwed as they are technically bankrupt. Other regions are better off

I dont know the law exactly, but I suppose you just need to show last year's tax return
