Digital Nomad looking for cheap digs, southern spain
Hey guys,
I work online and have the luxury of being able to live anywhere, but right now I'm still in the UK and looking to stay/live somewhere warmer from January onwards. I was considering Thailand, where I can rent a 1 bed studio in Bangkok for £150 a month, which is obviously very cheap.
However I would prefer somewhere nearer, and I think spain fits the bill. As a bonus I can drive down and have the use of my car.
Are there any cheap but nice areas on the south coast? I'm thinking say, 400 euros a month for a studio, but I'm guessing this is probably unrealistic. I do want to keep the bills down though. I wouldnt mind sharing with a group of expats.
If it helps, I'm a 35 yr old male, im not too interested in night life, although I dont want to be more than 30 mins by car from the action.
Any help appreciated!
Cheers

400€ is plenty for quite reasonable accommodation. South coast is a big area and, in winter, only warm when in the sun. If your work is on line then the question you should be asking is where can I get accommodation with a good internet connection for €400 as that is not a given.

Although I work online, I don't need a "fast" connection, as long as there is wifi, I can use that, and 3G/4g(?) as a backup.
Do you think I can get a nice (not large) studio for €400? I'm finding it real hard to find anything online as everything in english seems to be for holiday lets.
