Did you find the process of permanently moving to Spain difficult?

However its worth mentioning the interesting situation in Portugal.
If I was considering a permanent move over, I would investigate this for our situation, and would even consider selling out in Spain and just move a few minutes into Portugal, keeping the same lifestyle, friends,places to go etc.
I believe also there are less issues re Brexit too, as the programme applies outside the EU (I think).

I did look at Portugal but I found the house prices more expensive.My main search was Ayamonte maybe I should have put more effort into finding a place across the water? But I have an affection for Ayamonte my heart is speaking.My hope is Spain and UK will have a bilateral agreement after the Darn Brexit.We live in hope

What would be the best month to move weatherwise? I have building work to supervise I don't want to come when its cold
