well I was still reading the thread he was talking about when it got deleted & I was only up to page 3 :(

Actually, the number of the beast was originally 616, in the early gospels.

666 was an upgrade, or something.

I loved the Zit strip that concerned someone who lived at 667 Sh'it Street, and the strip was scalled 'Neighbour of the beast'.

The guy at No 667 saw nothing odd in the fact that his neighbour was bright red and stood 7 feet tall in his bare hooves.

Mitzy deleted a spammers thread, but he whinged to Sue and got a reprieve and did the dirty in another thread.
Me and J2 got reprimanded about calling him a spammer, I got quiet a bit of Karma but lost it all when Sue deleted the thread after realizing he really was one, hence this thread. ;);)

It was the moment he went so quiet after I had posted an edited version of his website registration, then came back and tried to take the micky out of the members of the forum.

a quick google for that handle showed me he had used it for 5-6 years and was posting identical opening message on other expat forums.

An even bigger pedant replies.

In the most cases you are right, but there are streets where the numbers go 'as the ox plows', and it's up the one side and then down the other.

The numbering system can drive you quite mental at times, I speak from experience.

Those are the best, and I have been known to call down multiple curses on the heads of those concerned.

The very worst are streets with NO numbers, just names, especially if they haven't bothered to put a name plate up...... :thumbdown:
