Cyndi's and Biclandia

Can anyone tell what's happening to Cyndi's at the Marina. Last we heard it was for sale with a buyer, has this happened? Also has the bike shop found a new buyer?

Cyndi's was empty, as in nothing in it, last week when I was at the beach. Bike shop changing hands again ?

Will cyndis be opening up again? We love their comfy chairs, haha.

When we last there, the bike shop was closed then later on a message was sent think on Face book that it was up for sale.

We watched a TV programme last year in Belgium, of a wonderful Dutch family who emigrated with financing from family, opened up the bike hire/cafe. I think it was called biclandia (sp). It was great to see 'our area' on TV, we were also very impressed with how the family and kids worked together. And what they created.

After the show I googled the company and we were very saddened that the father had died in a car accident, so the lovely family returned home.

Destiny.... You never know.

The man who died in a car crash was Frans Matla. The Bicilandia page on FB has the sad information.
