Cullera - I need an English speaking Handyman cum Builder urgently

Hi there. This is my first post so please bear with me. I urgently need an English speaking Handyman cum General Builder to do some light works for me on a house in Cullera, Costa Blanca within the next week / ten days from the date of this post.

Things like repairing an entrance door, replacing a large pane of glass, reinstating some electrics.

Any contact details, leads etc. would be much appreciated.

I have moved your thread into the Spain forum for you.

Not sure how likely you are to gain recommendations here as there is a lack of members in the area. Also, finding a handyman is not easy because so many train in one aspect of the trade and do not tend to cover other trades and English is not spoken wisely in that area. Perhaps a search on the internet for a company that does reforms in Cullera would be your best bet because then you could use Google translate to help you with messages.

Much better to ask your neighbours to recommend a local Spanish builder. Most work well with sign language / limited vocabulary. Use google to translate, then print what you want done.

Is a generic handyman even allowed to do electrical work in Spain?

Yes, but he would not be able to certify the work if required.
