A 62 year old British guy I know here in Gandia, renting an apartment for six months, not registered but with an EHIC card went to the local clinic, got seen by a doctor, and has been referred to the hospital for a hernia operation! I thought EHIC only covered emergency care. Drug prices are generally cheap here, except inhalers etc, and low dosage aspirin is unavailable. And many drugs seem to be available without a prescription at full price.

Hi can anyone help me, im moving to Almeria,i currently take some medications i know some are banned from some countries. Does anyone know if Fentynal patches tramadol pregabalin and co-codamol are cleared to take into the country?

Inhalers.
If we are talking "Ventolin" or similar they are about 3€ OTC. I have a "Spirva" inhaler and that is a different ball game as OTC it is 43€ or thereabouts. Obviously pensionista rate is somewhat less. |
