as for the carbonara thing i meant i preferred it with fresh cream but i dont think its gonna happen. will look again in eroski.

has anyone tried that frozen stuff? any good?
i like putting whipped cream in my bizcocho!
Here´s a link on how to make it. http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/da...us_72835.shtml Also, if you type ´making sour cream´into Google it comes up with other methods. Good luck.

If you have a Mas Y Mas in your area they do a sour cream. Its a white pot with red writing and logo on it. Its caled Saurrahm (the shelf edge label in spanish will read as Nata Acidica)

Failing that you can use creme fraiche with a drop of lemon (i just add a teaspoon then adjust to suit your taste).

I think what everyone is after (well, I certainly am), is the good old 'Tescos' Double Thick Cream.

Can't get anything even vaguely similar!

Surely you need cream for crumbles, mince pies, tinned fruit etc. etc.

You can get fresh double cream in some of the english shops around here but im always wary as if it hasnt been stored properly or kept chilled in transit you can be a bit disappointed . I bought one last christmas and opened it to have with christmas pud and it was off! i was gutted!
