Courier needed to deliver parcel - Cheap

I have bought an item on ebay in Spain, however the price quoted by Correos is out of this world. Also they refuse to carry anything more than 25kg.

Does anyone know of a courier or parcel delivery service that can deliver my item weight 31kg from Benidorm to Cadiz, at a reasonable cost?

Thanks

David

Try 'TOTAL POSTAL' or is it 'MAIL BOXES etc' (sorry) off the Avda Mediterranea, in Benidorm, they use various courier firms.

David , I think you will find the killer as far as cost is concearned is the weight. I have used Seur in the past although I find correos to be much cheaper for small or light items.... anyway that doesn't help for your package so... this SEUR transport page has an option of telling you the estimated cost.

Hope this helps

I you can speak Spanish you must be able to ask someone to ship it with there DHL/UPS or similar Account, when I sent some stuff back from Murcia to the UK was only 14€, if you dont know anyone just tap up one of the DHL Drivers, there is plenty of them

Thanks for all your answers.

I visited the Seur, DHL etc. and other similar sites and they are quoting around €171.00.

I think I'll get in my car and pick it up myself. And have a couple of days in Benidorm. It's going to cost the same!

Thanks

David

Yeah, I can't beleive myself how expensive it has become to use a transport company now, a couple of years ago they used to be reasonable! :(

I think you are right, you could actually drive it cheaper yourself :D

Try Offex - they have a depot in Benidorm (Tel 902 007 932) and cover Spain. Probably be around half the price you have been quoted.

Thank you very much for all of your ideas.

I finally found a courier company that did the delivery for me for only €56 and next day. Compared to all the other quotes this was a real bargain.

The downside is I wont be spending my couple of days in Benidorm.

Regards

David
