Costa Esuri Apartment @ €49,000??????
Can anyone confirm if this is true???
I was told of this two days ago and it was repeated (albeit vaguely) this morning.
I knew things were bad there, but surely this is far too low. You'd rather give the keys to the bank, wouldn't you????
If anyone can give more details - but maybe doesn't want to post publicly - PM me.

Thank you for the message. As promised, I will not divulge your details.
Suffice to say, it seems to be true.
This is absolutely incredible and cannot be good for the area. How can anyone expect to make anything off 49,000? (Or am I being naive?)
In a word....

Fred,
I wish I had clues to give you. That's what I'm fishing for now. I've done the phoning around the usual suspects to see what they know, and they are (on the whole) as suspicious as me - although none of them, tellingly, said they would be surprised.
Seriously, if anyone knows anything about this, please let us know. If it is true, it beats the previous record (that I know of) by a good €25,000.

I'm sorry, Jur. Are you actually reading any of what has come before?????? The whole point is that it is totally UNCONFIRMED and we are trying to get a handle on whether or not it has happened. If there was a flubbing website this flubbing thread would be flubbing irrelavent FFS!!!!!!! Jeez!

Interesting rumour though.

Still curious to know if it is true or not as all I've got are 3 (my original two plus one) vague confirmations. I'd rather more.

Sorry - looking back now, I see I didn't make myself clear. This is a SALE not a flat for sale. This is what supposedly a flat on Esuri has been sold for. It is not an offer (I STRONGLY doubt anyone would be foolish enough to advertise that price as on offer)
I see now, Jur, why you ask about the website. My bad.

Still nothing 100% confirmed, so it could still be a rumour. Yet it seems to be that I'm not the only one who's heard this so.
And as you said, it is sad.

Do you know whether it's a bank repo or just a "distressed sale"? If it's a bank / mortgage lender repo / sale, they don't usually have much interest in selling for very much more than the punter owes on his mortgage.

For whatever reason or price any property has been sold, it must be a good thing for the rest of the community (fees, maintenance, etc.)?
